high quality organic cannabis

When you decide to start growing cannabis, you want to set yourself up for success by investing in the right equipment. Not only will this make your life easier, the quality of your plants depends on it. Before you get started on your home growing journey, make sure you have all these essentials.
Seeds or Seedlings
You can’t grow without something to start with! Whether you choose seeds or seedlings is up to you, though keep in mind that planting seeds the old-fashioned way tends to be much slower and more difficult than investing in a clone or two to get started growing quicker.
Next, you will need your growing medium. We recommend soil, which is more forgiving than, say, hydroponics, and is also naturally rich in nutrients. Be sure to invest in soil that is designed for growing cannabis specifically — something like Miracle Gro isn’t going to cut it.
Can’t forget the cannabis grow tent on the grow tent checklist! A grow tent allows you to have complete control over your grow space. It also means that you don’t have to dedicate an entire room to grow — all you need is a space roughly the size of a refrigerator. Make sure to use a tent to prevent diseases, improve the quality of your crop, and keep your space organized.
You can buy a grow tent, or you can build your own if you are a DIYer.
Lighting is crucial to the health of your plants, so you want to make sure to get the right grow light. There are many different lighting options available to the home grower. The light you choose will will be influenced by a number of factors including your overall goals, energy consumption, temperature, and budget. Just remember to do plenty of research and you get what you pay for, so a cheap LED from Amazon will likely yield disappointing results.
Timers ensure that your lights simulate day/night cycles for your plants. You plug the timer into the wall, then the light into your timer. Make sure your timer can handle high wattages and is programmable for days at a time.
It’s important to have proper air circulation in your grow tent. An oscillating fan works well to prevent mold growth and pests, as well as strengthening your plants’ stems. Get a mountable one to keep it out of the way.
Inline Fans and Ducting
In addition, inline fans help to ventilate your grow tent. You will want two holes in your grow tent: one to pull fresh air in, and one to expel stale air out. Ducting attaches to the filter and the fan directs filtered air out of the tent while drawing fresh air in.
Carbon filters are ideal for controlling odors by purifying the air inside your tent. You will need inline fans and ducting to set this up.
This device measures the temperature and humidity of the tent. This plays an integral role in helping you detect any issues in the grow environment.
One of the most important parts of growing cannabis is maintaining a proper pH level. If your pH level is either too high or too low, your plant cannot get the right amount of nutrients. Ideally, your soil will be between 6.0 and 7.0, while your water will read between 5.5 and 6.8.
Make sure to invest in a quality, sharp pair of pruning shears to make it easier to trim and harvest your plants.
A standard watering can should be sufficient for hydrating your cannabis plants. One with a long spout is ideal for making sure you get to each plant.
Misting your plants is a great way to hydrate young plants while avoiding oversaturation. You can also use a spray bottle to create a more humid environment inside the grow tent.
You can use garden wire to secure your plants during the seedling stage and train them to grow upright. You can also use it to hang your buds after harvesting.
Once you have harvested and processed your cannabis, you want to do everything you can to preserve its freshness and potency. Airtight containers are essential for this. Mason jars are an excellent choice, but anything with thick glass and an airtight seal works.
